Peer mentorship is an impactful way for students to navigate all of the new experiences that happen in college and in moving to the U.S. for the first time.
For mentees, mentoring helps in transitioning to a new culture, engaging in college activities, and utilizing campus resources that support your academic goals.
The Global Student Mentor Program matches incoming international students with experienced Northeastern students. You'll be guided through completing regular meetings through the semester and have access to additional support materials.
It is important that you make the same level of commitment as your mentor. This includes being responsive to your mentor and making time in your schedule for regular meetings throughout the whole semester. Please ensure that you are prepared to follow-through on your participation in the program.
Please find more detailed information, such as expectations and benefits, here on the OGS website.
The Global Reach Mentor Program is intended for prospective Northeastern international students who have not yet applied to the university. You can sign up to be matched with a current Northeastern international student who will serve as your mentor throughout the application process and during your first semester at Northeastern. Please find more detailed information about this program, such as eligibility and benefits, here on the OGS website.
